The Best Way to Download Adobe Flash Player for IE8 on Any Device

I just want to tell you all and you also Carl. I have had IE8 for awhile and then recently I was unable to view any moveable pictures and/or videos. I uninstall adobe flash 11, reinstalled. Uninstalled again using the uninstall tool, installed again. I was able to view the videos using Google Chrome, but not on IE 8. Your fix was the one that worked.

adobe flash player ie8 download

I have windows Vista, 64 bit operating system, recently downloaded IE9 (I am using the 32 bit browser) and can't use Flash player anymore. I can download it and it says it's been successful but then I can't see any video.

I have to set up IE7 or IE8 with Adobe Flash Player on a Linux machine (to test a very old web application) but I fight with some compatibility Flash problems. I'm using PlayOnLinux on Ubuntu 14.04 and I installed successfully IE with this tool but I tried to install Flash many times without success (from -player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html).

Problem solved !I resintall wine only (without PlayOnLinux) and I installed ie8 with winetricks.I downloaded flashplayer9 and copied it in the wine ie8 folder, executed the flashplayer.exe for windows and launch iexplorer.exe from the .wine/...../IE folder.

Firefox was great until new adobe flash update,it works fine in IE8, but I do prefer FF browser...now it tells me to upload plugins, so when I try to comply I am offered Version 10.3 so I go on with that until its installing nearly 50% & then FFox realises that a newer version (namely Flashplayer 11) is already on my laptop & then it stops......leaving me completely unable to use FFox at all???Why is FFox only offering me the page with this wrong version(10.3) ???? Can we get FFox to correct this ?? Thanking you, yours sincerely...liamo777

Hello SafeBrowser........ Well FFox still fails to install adobe flash 11 in MSG Games when instructed to download this plugin & every attempt to download 11 from other sites ended in being offered the wrong version namely 10.3 as I said before. So I stayed at it and sorted it out. I wiped everything to do with Version 11 and reinstalled Version 10.3 .......& I like computers and if I know a fix I'll post it, all this I look at as learning something new everyday but it very time consuming. SLAINTE liamo777

Hello SafeBrowser....firstly as I said b4, I did exactly as you said & as there was no Shockwave flash onboard then add-ons,plugins,enable,disable was of no consequence, so why mention it, Im no computer expert & I,m not a two year old either, now getting back to the problem that I explained in detail...why am I still getting offered a download which its never going to accept in a month of Sundays??????? Its like a perpetual circle and a complete waste of time. I did download Shockwave flash by the way, hoping that the inclusive adobe flash might free up the problem, went and tried Msn games online but still wants plugins. I look forward to you reply&will you answer some of those questions I asked earlier, thanking you, yours sincerely...liamo777

Adobe Flash Player plug-in is required to use the Flow Explorer, Show Calls, Declarative Network, interactive charts in the Monitor Activity workspace, interactive charts in your application, and other displays. Application users need only Version 9; Designer Studio users need Version 10. The Flash Player is available as a small download fromwww.adobe.com/products/flashplayer.

For those who use Adobe Flash Player for IE, there are two ways to get the program working on their system. Those who use Windows and have Vista, the most recent version of Windows, will find that it is possible to get the program running through the standard Windows installation process; this setup should not produce any incompatibility issues with Adobe Flash Players for Windows Vista. However, those who use an older version of Windows, such as Windows ME or XP, may find that certain features of Adobe Flash Player for IE become inaccessible or are changed by default. It is these older systems that will need to be specially adapted to work with adobe flash player. This can often be done by downloading and installing a program called "Flash Players XP", which will allow the older operating systems to run the latest version of the flash player without compatibility issues.
